WHY DF ATHLETE PERFORMANCE ENHANCEMENT?

This results in a happier, more confident, kid playing at higher levels and positively impacting the team!

We specialize in creating higher achieving athletes that may not be getting the playing time they desire, who may not currently be a top performing athlete, but they have the heart to become one! 

These athletes  may not appear to be as naturally athletic as others, so we slow it down, we explain, we teach, we give them time to understand the concepts, time to learn, and support them as they figure it out,  instead of tear them down.

IT IS NOT JUST EXERCISING FOR FITNESS

Size of a muscle doesn't determine athletic potential,
it is training the nervous system and the muscles to coordinate and react quickly, explosively and efficiently 

IT IS INSTRUCTED BY A STRENGTH & CONDITIONING COACH, Nationally certified and degree'd 

The coach modifies, adjusts, and informs the athletes of proper movement/activation
The coach actively engages with the athletes to build confidence and enthusiasm
The coach is a personal supporter, motivator, educator, instructor

IT IS NOT BODY BUILDING 

IT IS SPECIFIC:  designed to improve movement patterns, acceleration, slowing down, changing directions, stopping

 

It is a science based approach to improving the physical/mental  potential of the athletes

There is a science to effective strength and conditioning

if you follow the wrong workouts you might LOOK strong, but you lack speed, power and conditioning 
 

if you don't train the mind/muscle connection, you're missing out on improving reaction/coordination

if you follow the wrong workouts you might make you susceptible to injury; possibly a season ending injury

if you follow a workout but aren't using proper form, activating the correct muscles and repeating these incorrect patterns over and over, you are creating/developing an injury.

if you follow the wrong workouts you will become slower, therefore less explosive, and less likely to out perform the competition

"beach muscles" may look strong, but often times they are slow and gas out
