Have You thought About training for your first 5K, 3miles: walking or running? Or Half marathon, 13 miles? We have groups forming now. You must start the training plan soon to be ready for these Spring Events. More Info Soon! CONGRATULATIONS to TEAM DF! We won the Largest Team Award for the 5K but more importantly… we performed as a TEAM and finished as a team! So proud of our first time finishers, the walkers and runners alike! So proud of the team spirit: encouraging and motivating each other from on/off the course! We also had many people improve their overall finish times from previous years. SO PROUD OF EACH OF YOU!!! DF is the talk of the town…

It requires constant care and attention, proper fuel and daily exercise… Are you doing enough for YOU? Now is the time… Your opportunity to make the most of your power-source… I am encouraging you to reflect on what types of foods and drinks you are ingesting and make appropriate alterations so that you are giving your body what it NEEDS! You have the power to eat high performance foods or garbage. Are you wasting your time and energy on garbage? Visit the blog and tell us what you are doing to fuel your body. Me? I’ve been dabbling in the Paleolithic Era of eating… to find out more, visit the blog Ready, Set, Go… The warmer weather is approaching… I am encouraging you all to make outdoor activity part of your fitness routine. Whether you are walking, running, biking or hiking please make it a priority to fit it into your schedule! The Family Fitness Run/Walk group has been a success and it is never too late to get started. We are preparing for the annual Palmerton 5k (3miles) to be held on MAY 12th! Remember register as Team Dedicated Fitness and EVERYONE you know, whether a member of DF or Not, is encouraged to be on our team.
