We usually make our minds up to lose weight or to get healthy and set out to do so...but you never think about your plan of action... we are not wired to "just do what you want" at all times... you must configure a plan for when old habits want to kick back in... WHY 7amSat morning meeting???:
well, none of us really want to be at the gym 7am on a SAT morning!!!! Are you kidding me!!! I certainly don't! BUT... it is only 7 Saturdays of the rest of your life... of which, these Sat meetings, will greatly IMPACT your LIFE in a most POSITIVE way! Your reward for getting there at 7am... Is QUALITY of LIFE WILL BE BETTER!!! Making you a better person all-around! and after 7 weeks, you can go back to sleeping in!
... but it is a time when most of us have no other commitments... after all, it is 7am on a Sat! Getting UP and ATTENDING the meeting is guaranteeing yourself a commitment to succeed!!!
WHAT HAPPENS AT EACH MEETING?
The First 30 min are to motivate and remind you about what you have gotten yourself into. Your DESIRE to improve your current health status has gotten you there and the coaches will not let you forget it! You will learn tips/techniques for developing more confidence, for staying focused and attentive to your plans to make better lifestyle choices. You will feel empowered and ready to attack the next week of your challenge.
The next 30min are intended to be time with your specific team to discuss more specifics of exercise and nutrition.
WHY ARE THERE 2 TEAMS?
Although each team will be supporting each other in completing this challenge, they differ in the nutrition program they are following.
Some are choosing the up and coming Caveman technique, which mimics the lifestyle of a hunter/gatherer: avoiding processed, chemically treated foods, and sugar which causes inflammation and havoc in our bodies...
(Never feel stressed about counting calories or grams... we basically eat until we are full! We eat from the perimeter of the grocery store! There are tons of recipes to make eating this way interesting and fulfilling! the meetings and our blog will help you on this journey)
Although You will NOT feel like you are "dieting"... this means NO breads, grains, pasta, rice, cereal... BUT is feels so good! Trust me! I personally follow this plan and my last year has been one of the best!
Others are following a sensible solutions plan to eat everything in moderation, paying attention to portion sizes and calories consumed. This style works for some people, Crystal lost 140 pounds on this plan and will be available for assistance during the program.
At Every Sat meeting, you will receive a new homework packet... which will include A food Journal to be filled Daily and handed in each week at the meetings, a Gratitude Journal for your personal growth, your Exercise Prescription, and specific challenges for working on prioritizing and scheduling time, acknowledging negative thoughts and actions and how to respond to them, etc.

out the year… This is what helps keep you focused on your goals, it keeps you
excited about fitness and exercise, and we always have fun!
Things to look forward to…
Have you ever thought about Walking/or Running … a 5K? A 1/2 Marathon? We
will have training groups starting… so keep an eye out for when they are starting.
Some of you would like to start Road Biking or you may have even set a goal to
complete your first triathlon. We will have coaches ready to help you get started
and you can train with our team. You may want to complete your first GoRuck
challenge, or High Ropes Adventure Course… Maybe you want to climb a moun-
tain or traverse a new trail… we do it all and you are welcome to join us!
