An average athlete may understand the skills of the sport but be unable to withstand the intensity of the game. An average athlete may be physically conditioned but not quite coordinated for the "skill" of the sport.
To be a top level performer, the athlete must be both skilled, and conditioned.
A Conditioning Coach is Hired to:
prepare the athlete to endure the physical aspect of the sport. The coach will not only challenge the body of the athlete, he or she will also challenge the mind.
